Philosophy and Code of Conduct
Our company’s philosophy is based on the pillars of Friendship, Trust and Compliance. Friendship or chemistry (“rapport”) between Client and Consultant enables pleasant and honest communication. The best indicator of the success for any business is cooperation and mutual Trust between parties. This is the foundation of a successful relationship. The underlying pillar of our company (Compliance) is our motto: we do what we promise and do not promise anything we can’t deliver.
Our rules of conduct are as follows
- Honesty is key in our relationships with clients.
- We always treat the information shared with us as confidential and carefully consult with our client to determine the extent of that confidentiality.
- We do not approach candidates employed by our clients unless we have permission to do so.
- We believe in communicating clearly. During the entire process we keep our clients informed with written progress reports and frequent verbal communication.
- Candidates who apply will always receive a prompt response. If candidates appear suitable, we will discuss their competencies, skills and motivation personally.
- An honest relationship in which the candidate can share important and relevant information with us in confidence is very important to us.
- We keep the candidate up to date about the open position and always ask for permission to introduce him or her to our client.
Diepeveen & Partners is engaged with BAGázs, a public benefit association that has been operating since 2011 to contribute to an inclusive and accepting society in which Roma people have a chance to achieve their goals. This organisation does not give out donations but offers the opportunity to change. BAGázs provides assets for the Roma social groups to enable them to recognize and articulate their needs, and to sensitise members of mainstream society to become more accepting. Deliberate development and reinforcement of the local community is its top priority. https://bagazs.org

My name is Katalin Lányi. I graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University as a psychologist. Since 2008 I have been dealing with human resources management. In my profession I gained experience as an HR manager on the corporate side, and as a consultant on the agency side.
During my career I had the opportunity to look for professionals for extremely exciting and interesting jobs. Technical and IT projects are close to me, and I have a lot of experience in sales, HR and communications as well. I am not scared of professional challenges - I am open to new fields.
I find it very important to thoroughly understand the needs of our clients and I try to provide as much information as possible to candidates to make sure that both parties will make stable decisions resulting in a successful cooperation.
My name is Frido Diepeveen and I am the Dutch-Hungarian owner of Diepeveen&Partners. Having obtained a law degree in international and civil law (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), I started my career in 1998 as in-house lawyer at the head office of Abn Amro Bank in Amsterdam. In 2001 I moved to Hungary, continuing my finance career at another Dutch financial institution, ING Bank. During this time, I had the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the Hungarian financial sector and to become fluent in the Hungarian language. After four years of back office as well as front office positions, I found my true calling.
In 2005, I started a career in HR consulting and (executive) search. From 2005 to 2010, I co-owned and co-managed the recruitment firm ProfiPower that went on to become Hungary’s market leader in 2008. In 2010, the firm was sold to a listed company, which has since then become the world’s largest HR services company. After selling ProfiPower, for seven successful years I continued as commercial director of the newly merged company. In 2018, I began to realize that many recruitment firms were taking advantage of the growing economy by offering barely good enough services to their clients and candidates. Something new was needed.
Talent pools were drying up and recruiters came and went at the large recruitment firms, lowering the standard of services. Clients were no longer getting the services they paid for, if they got any service at all.
I decided to return to core values by founding Diepeveen&Partners. The company offers innovative, high quality services to a select group of dedicated clients, who have a clear vision of what they seek and why someone would be motivated to work for them. Our approach is validated daily by the growing number of great clients appreciative the tailor-made services we provide.
Key hires can transform your company: securing the right executive is critical
Acquiring and retaining high-quality talent is critical to an organisation’s success. As the job market becomes increasingly competitive and the available skills grow more diverse, companies need to be more selective in their choices. Poor recruiting decisions can produce long-term negative effects, among them high training and development costs to minimise the incidence of poor performance and high attrition rate which, in turn, impact staff moral and retention. At worst, the organisation can fail to achieve its objectives thereby losing its competitive edge and its share of the market.
Our mission is to disrupt the norms that clients have experienced by setting new standards of excellence and expectations. Where “good enough is just NOT good enough anymore”. The current market is designed for innovative and interesting companies that are looking for creative and solution-driven individuals that add value to their businesses not just in terms of their bottom-line but also in terms of their Employee Value Proposition. Candidates are discerning, and clients are choosy, and we would not have it any other way!
We see our ability to deliver exceptional service and deep understanding of the client and candidates needs as our biggest USP. In order to fulfil this, our business model will be limited to working with a small group of dedicated clients who have a clear vision of what they are looking for and why someone would be motivated to work for them.
Our ability to deliver diverse shortlists through a wide-ranging candidate network that has grown with us since 2005 and our refreshing approach to business, explains why clients choose to work with us on a long-term basis.
